Daniella is an accredited urban  planner with 12+ years experience working with the city of brampton and project manager, wife, mom, and thought leader. Her service in the community has spanned from education to mentoring youth and volunteering at community events.
 
Daniella has extensive experience in city building and community development, grounded in a desire for deep impact and lasting change. Her vision is to enrich the liveability of our communities for all residents through a focus on well-being, engagement and education.
 
As past Chair of the Peel District School Board’s Parent Involvement Committee, she jointly led the development of the committee’s annual flagship event, It’s a Family Affair Conference. In its 6th year, this event attracts over 100 school council leaders across Peel with a goal of empowering students to  succed by equipping our parent community.
 
Daniella’s leadership includes overseeing key social initiatives, such as driving the development of Brampton’s affordable housing strategy framework and creation of an expert housing panel, and serving as project manager for Bramtpon’s city-wide Age-Friendly Strategy.
 
Most recently, Daniella served as the Staff Lead of the Mayor’s COVID 19 Seniors Support Task Force, overseeing the establishment of a municipal grocery program to support our most vulnerable residents with access to daily essentials and key services.
